For the third year in a row, Environmental Advocates of New York and Aveda Salons are partnering together to bring attention to one of our most precious resources—water.

Earth Month is an annual fundraising initiative held in April, during which Aveda Salons partner with local nonprofit organizations to raise awareness about threats to our natural resources, especially water, and to raise money to support work that safeguards these precious resources. Our partnership with Aveda helps to support our ongoing efforts to protect New York’s water and communities from the dangers of dirty gas drilling called hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking.”

We are thrilled to count the many salons below as our partners to protect New York’s water.
