Why are donations from individuals so important?
While Environmental Advocates of New York is able to accomplish much of its work through foundation grants that support specific projects, our success in protecting New York’s environment very much depends on individual donations that provide the flexibility to respond to unanticipated threats to the environment and to take advantage of new opportunities as they present themselves. This funding enables Environmental Advocates to fill gaps when unforeseen issues arise and guarantees our ability to take on these challenges.
